    What governs this testimony

Jesus Christ is Savior. Scripture is authority. Salvation is by grace through faith, not performance. Prayer, church, wise counsel, recovery support, qualified care, and personal responsibility are honored, not replaced by this site.

    How to read this page

The story sections are first-person testimony. Scripture references identify biblical anchors to read in context. Statements about daily practices are practical reflection, not commands that replace Scripture or counsel.

    The Short Testimony

I ran out of options. Jesus did not run out of grace.

Trauma, PTSD symptoms, pressure, shame, and survival had consumed more of my life than people could see. Jesus was always there. He met me beneath the symptoms, performance, numbing, fear, and collapse. He called me toward truth, responsibility, appropriate support, daily obedience, and a life rooted in Him.

Blessedly Stressed was born where pressure met the presence of Jesus. It is not a celebration of pain. It is a living testimony that the Cross is greater than the wreckage.

    Chapter 02 of 6

    First-person testimony

Jesus Met Me in the Wreckage

For years, I tried to build before I learned how to abide. God had given me gifts, communication, creativity, music, leadership, discipline, and a heart for people, but I began asking those gifts to tell me who I was.

Achievement, provision, approval, control, music, and the hope of one major breakthrough started carrying weight they were never created to carry. My wounds were real, and my sin was real too.

My wounds were real, and my sin was real too.

    Chapter 03 of 6

    First-person testimony

    When Trauma Consumed Me

Trauma and PTSD symptoms had consumed so much of my life. My body could be in survival even when danger was no longer standing in front of me. Sometimes people saw behavior without seeing the trauma underneath it.

That does not erase my responsibility or excuse my choices. It tells the truth about the battlefield. Numbing became a way of trying to quiet pain and survival symptoms I did not yet understand. I needed more than judgment about what could be seen. I needed the whole person to be understood.

    First-person testimony

    Jesus Was Not Absent

I did not yet recognize, trust, or follow Jesus as I should, but He was not absent. He met me beneath the symptoms, shame, performance, and collapse. He did not reduce me to my worst behavior, and He did not pretend behavior did not matter.

Scripture, prayer, honest accountability, wise people, qualified support, responsibility, and repeated opportunities to tell the truth became paths He used to lead me back into the light.

    Chapter 05 of 6

    First-person testimony

    Rebuilding Became Daily Discipleship

The journey became repentance, accountability, honest awareness of my body and present state, asking for help, telling the truth, handling responsibility, and learning to take one clean step at a time with Jesus.

I am not my shame, my symptoms, my money, my music, or my worst day. For those trusting in Christ, identity rests in Him, not in a changing state.

Jesus is the Vine; I am a branch dependent on Him.

    Chapter 06 of 6

    First-person testimony

    Where Blessedly Stressed Was Born

It was born where pressure met the presence of Jesus. It is a witness to mercy and a community still being rebuilt, people learning to walk truthfully, protect what is sacred, build with clean hands, and surrender our gifts back to the One who gave them.

The Cross is greater than the wreckage. I am still a work in progress. Jesus gets the glory.

Savior-saved, not self-made. Steward, not owner. Branch, not Vine.

The Cross is greater than the wreckage.

I am still a work in progress. Jesus gets the glory.
